Mr Rob Gallagher’s Presidents Prize was decided after a dramatic four-way 40 points break of tie last Saturday.
And it was 14 handicapper John Mc Monagle who got the verdict, virtue of his superior scoring on the last six holes earning him the coveted Presidents Prize.
Despite the inclement weather over the previous 24 hours the course was in remarkably good condition thanks to the efforts of the greenkeeping staff which the large turnout enjoyed.
Runner-up was Kevin Henderson while third and fourth places were also decided on the back six holes as Sean Haslett and Ciaran O’ Doherty finished third and fourth respectively.
