Desmond Motors Winter League Series Round 8

November 24, 2017

With the eight and last full counting round cards having been returned in the Desmond Motors Winter League Series at Foyle Team 28 has took over at the top of the leader board.

With the teams now having to drop their lowest scores in the last two rounds it will certainly make for a very interesting and close finish to the qualifying, with the teams having to have all ten round cards completed by Sunday 26th November, when the teams will be identified to contest the play – off.

Team 28 consisting of David Wilson and Brendan Gallagher who returned the best score in round eight an excellent 45 points and have accumulated 340 points from their eight rounds, now hold a seven point lead over Team 11, Ciaran O’ Doherty and Gary Jackson who returned a fine score of 44 points in round eight for an accumulated 333 points eight round total.
