The Bank Holiday Fintru Open was played in less favorable conditions as the competitors had to endure periods of rain but again scoring was good from the back tees as 14 handicapper Paul Callaghan took the winners accolade with a fine score of 41 points, Barry Downey and Sean Haughey finished second and third respectively after a 39 points break of tie.
