Saturday’s Magners Open Stableford was played in less than pleasant conditions with the early starters getting the worst of the conditions but the very good turnout returned some good scores from the back tees even in the tought scoring conditions.
13 Handicapper Charlie Haslett took the winners accolade with one point to spare over the chasing pack when finishing with an impressive 39 points
Scratch Handicapper Damien Mc Kenna negotiated the Ballyarnett layout in two under par for an excellent 38 points and second place after a break of tie with third placed Conor O’ Doherty.
