Martin Harkin produced an exceptional 45pts winning score in Sundays P.G.A. Tankard Qualifier and the 19 handicapper will now go to Masseerene Golf Club with a much reduced handicap to represent the Club in the P.G.A. Northern Branch Final on 22nd September, David Knox missed out on the prestigious prize by one point when returning a magnificent 44pts for second place and in doing so the 10 handicapper had his handicap reduced under the E.S.R. rule to 6, the inform Tony Mc Ginley finished in third with 42pts.
