The Final of the Pauls Butchers Spring League took place over the weekend between Team 9 Damien Martin, Kevin Dunn, Kevin Thomas, Paul Dunn and Team 12 Cyril Ming, Jim Mc Fadden, Dermott Harkin, Ciaran Mc Guinness and it turned out to be a very competitive event with one hole separating the teams after 36 holes of golf.
The pairs for the Final were as follows Kevin Dunn & Damien Martin played Cyril Ming & Dermott Harkin which turned out a very close contest until the last three holes which Kevin & Damien birdied for wins and a three hole victory.
Kevin Thomas & Paul Dunn played Ciaran Mc Guinness & Jim Mc Fadden which also was a very close match which Ciaran & Jim won by two holes therefore Team 9 Damien Martin, Kevin Dunn, Kevin Thomas and Paul Dunn claimed victory by a slender one hole margin and the coveted 2017 Spring League Title.
