Scramble and Spring League Results

Well I think we can all agree today’s scramble was a success and a great way to start of the new season. The 21 ladies that played didn’t let the odd snow and hail shower deter them in their enthusiasm for the competition. As usual it was a close run thing and it took a break of tie to decide the winners. Congratulations to Monica Smith, Jennifer Rainey and Alison Evans who were on the winning side of the break of tie against runners up Florence Rankin, Denise Callan and Cathy McCay. Thank you to sponsors Mary Hasson an Anne Hamilton.
The Spring League prize giving was also held today and again it was a close result with the Daffodils taking first place having a 2 point lead on the Cherry Blossoms

1st – Daffodils: Agnes McLaughlin, Geraldine Doherty, Belinda Moore – 248pts
2nd – Cherry Blossoms: Florence Rankin, Denise Callan, Sally Moloney – 246pts
