Wednesday’s Crumley Construction Monthly Medal was played in pleasant conditions with Christy Coyle taking top honours in the low category with a well compiled nett 68, Andy Mc Keever was the best of the category 11 – 16 players with a nett 68 as Tony Mc Monagle returned a fine nett 66 to win the 17+ category.
The highlight of the competition was a hole-in-one at the par three eight where Cormac Mc Geady holed out for his ace with a well struck 8 iron witnessed by playing partners Kevin Mc Dermott, Martin Moran and Charlie Mc Dermott, Cormac will now become the proud owner of a limited Edition Boss Hole- In- One watch his second such prize with this being Cormac’s 11th career hole-in-one.
