Pauls Butchers Spring League Final took place on Saturday last and as the eight Qualifying Teams turned up it was a miserable morning not conducive for playing good golf but fortunately as soon as they had all teed off it broke out a fine afternoon, and this certainly helped make the Final a very competitive affair with some fine scores returned.
The winners were decided after a very competitive Final on a 64 points break of tie in favor of Team 15, who had finished eighth in the qualifying section, James Dalzell, Gavin Mc Rafferty, Paul Rabbett and Terry Cavanagh who won the coveted title virtue of their superior back six score, runners up after the tie break were Team 17, Tony Mc Ginley, Declan Meenan, Matthew Wagstaff and Luke Sweeney.
