Foyle Golf Centre is situated on the outskirts of Londonderry, and enjoys a unique position in its accessibility to the City of Derry airport together with good trunk roads linking it with County Donegal and Belfast. After the challenge of the course you can explore what the city and it’s surroundings has to offer.

Step back in time and relive the city’s past on an Inner City Guided Walking Tour, Bus Tour or Taxi Tour, where you’ll discover a wealth of history, including the unexpected landing of Amelia Earhart on her historic solo flight across the Atlantic in 1932. Situated on the Waterside area is Riverwatch at the Lough’s Agency which provides the opportunity to explore the Foyle and Carlingford Loughs. The Workhouse Museum tells the story of the famine and the Battle of the Atlantic. Prehen House is home to one of Ireland’s greatest love stories, the legend of Half Hung McNaughton.

Having been UK City of Culture 2013, it is not surprising there is plenty of Arts and Culture for you to enjoy with plays and events at many of the City’s Galleries and Arts Centres. The Playhouse is an award winning Community Art Centre featuring year round programming of local, national and international Theatre, Dance, Visual Arts, Education and Outreach, and Art Resources. Admission charges will apply to performances held at the venue.

Local restaurants, bistros and brasseries will have you coming back for second helpings. The choice is remarkable for a city of its size. The city prides itself as being the hospitality champion of Ireland and service with a smile is always guaranteed to be on the menu.
