|1973||Rob Gallagher established beef fattening and arable farming enterprise|
|1991||Beef herd sold, the idea for a golf course was born, and extensive drainage commenced on the land|
|1992||Golf course construction began in earnest, spanning almost three years|
|1994||Foyle Golf Centre opened its doors to the public|
|– March: 9 Hole opened|

|2001||£1m extension completed on clubhouse extension and Pitchers Wine Bar & Restaurant|
|2002||Driving range extended with extra 6 bays, video analysis teaching facility and reception area|

Covid Update: Our premises have now been sanitised by a professional company and are now open again.
We have closely followed HSE Guidance, and identified 1 person (a staff member) who must now self isolate. Our Perspex screen is considered a safeguard against close contact and the HSE do not require anyone who has stood in front of it yesterday morning to be contacted.
We wish our staff member a speedy recovery and congratulate them on getting a test immediately when they began to feel unwell, and also hats off to the testing service who had a result for them in less than a day.

Unfortunately our clubhouse building is currently closed as we have just found out that a reception staff member who worked yesterday morning has tested positive for Covid 19.
We have a professional cleaning company booked for 12pm to sanitise the interior of the premises and will have a further update after that.
Golfers who already have a booking may still play, by making their way from the car park directly to the 1st tee. We cannot take new bookings at this time.
The driving range is completely unaffected as it is on a separate site, and this staff member has not been into the driving range at all.
