85 plus members and visitors turned out for the A B Motors NI Ltd Sponsored Open Stableford on a beautiful day and with the Ballyarnett course in pristine condition everything was in place for a very good competition.
17 handicapper Sean Ferry one of the earlier starters posted a fine score of 17 and 23 points on both nines for a winning score of 40 points albeit it after a break of tie with runner-up Declan Coyle virtue of his superior back nine, as Jim Mc Grotty finished in third place a point adrift on 39 points
