The Annual Alan Harkens Memorial Trophy Competition took center stage at the Club on Saturday with a large turnout of members taking to the pristine Ballyarnett fairways, raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and also hoping to have their name engraved on the trophy.
Three handicapper Martin Kivelehan produced a fabulous round of three under par, level par on the front on the front 9 followed by birdies at the 11th, 14th, 16th and 17th holes with the only blemish to par on the way home coming at the par three 13th hole for his winning score of 42 points.
