The Annual Alan Harkens Memorial Trophy was played for on Saturday last with a very large turnout taking to to the pristine Ballyarnett faurways to honour the Clubs former Captain and Hon. Treasurer on a glorious day making for a very good competition.
The 90 plus competitors competing for this very prestigious title certainly had everything going in their favour as they set out hoping to have their name engraved on the trophy, with scoring of the highest order the 2018 winner was decided after a three way 40 points break of tie in favour of 9 handicapper Damien Kivelehan virtue of his 21 points on the back nine.
