The Annual Cable & Accessories Anniversary Open Stableford took place on Saturday with the earlier starters getting the best of what turned out to be a very wet day.
The competition fared favorably with a decent entry returning some very good scores as it took a two way 40 points break of tie to decide the winner in favour of 15 handicapper Jason Murray who has come into some fine form and got the verdict and victory with his 22 points on the back nine leaving Jake Hannaway another player who is showing some very good form of late to take the runners- up spot, as 12 handicapper Terry Cavanagh finished in third place on 38 points, Shane Mc Clean returned the best gross score on the day an excellent two under par round for his 38 points winning gross score.
