Last Thursday Foyle Ladies played the Australian Spoons and Daisy Ferguson Qualifying Competitions. Denise Callan and Ann Fulton qualified for the Australian Spoons District Final in Ballyclare Golf Club, returning a great score of 40 points. The runners-up were Lorna Thompson and Maureen Louden returning a score of 38 points to qualify for the Daisy Ferguson Trophy Final in Royal County Down. The clubs 18 hole competition was won by Margaret Killen (22) with 38 points.
