The Boxing Day Stableford attracted a good entry with a lot of players turning out with good intention when teeing off but unfortunately this seemed to evaporate during the round as just half the field entered, returning a card ? ? , maybe it was the excesses of Christmas Day or they over indulged in the “Devils Buttermilk”
One player we know who certainly stays away from the demon drink is Kevin Crumley and he certainly turned out with a clear head and produced the perfect round of equal 19 points on both nines for a fine winning score of 38 points, Juvenile member Caolan Dunn finished in the runners up spot three points adrift, with Joe Bradley finishing third after a two way 34 points break of tie virtue of his superior 20 points on the back nine.
