The Calor Gas Sponsored Easter Open Stableford on Monday had close to 110 competitors taking to the Ballyarnett fairways and they enjoyed fine conditions on a course in pristine condition which was reflected in the scoring from the back tees.
Twenty handicapper Brendan Doherty made full use of the favorable playing conditions to post a fine winning score of 40 points albeit after a break of tie with runner up Martin Campbell, with third placed Conor O’ Doherty getting the verdict after a three way 39 points break of tie.
