Monday’s Calor Gas sponsored Easter Open Stableford was very well supported with the 110 competitors who took to the Ballyarnett fairways enduring difficult conditions as the sharp showers made scoring difficult from the back tees.
However 16 handicapper Eamon O’ Kane relished the conditions, as he returned equal nine of 21 points for his excellent winning score of 42 points, Kevin Dunn finished second after a two way 39 points break of tie with third placed Martin Tope.
