The Captains Charity Club Stableford was played on Saturday with an excellent turnout raising funds for the Captains 2019 nominated charity the Foyle Hospice.
The competitors enjoyed favorable conditions which was reflected in the excellent scoring, 5 handicapper Martin Kivelehan compiled an excellent round with 19 points on the front nine followed by 23 points on the back nine for a 42 points winning score after a tie break with runner – up 6 handicapper Nathan Mulligan who replicated Martin’s score but unfortunately for Nathan he had the 23 points on the front nine, Gavin Mc Callion who is having a fine run of form finished third with the best of the 40 points returns.
