Foyle Golf Club Captains Mr Chris Lynch and Mrs Denise Callan officially opened the 2014 season on Friday evening when both drove into office, following the drive – in sixty four members took part in a very enjoyable nine hole scramble, with Lady President Avril Gallagher, Shane Mc Clean, Kevin Crumley and Finbar Logue producing a birdie fest to take top honors, the Shane Mc Clean inspired team rolled in five birdies for a thee shot winning margin.
