Sundays Christmas Hamper Competition had a fine entry as 96 competitors took to the Ballyarnett fairways on a decent winter’s day and the good scoring reflected the conditions as the winner was decided after a three way 41 points break of tie in favour of 14 handicapper John P Logue virtue of his superior 23 points on the back nine.
