The Final of the Crumley Construction Monthly Medal was played on Saturday last with the Qualifiers enjoying decent conditions and in a very competitive event two strokes separated the top finishers.
Eight handicapper David Hasson took the coveted title having returned a fine nett 72 for a one stroke victory over the chasing pack, Kieran Duffy won the low category prize with a nett 73 and will certainly be regretting the 7 & 8 strokes taken at holes 14 & 15 after compiling a fine front nine of one over par, Charlie Haslett’s nett74 was the best of the mid category players with Patrick Mahon taking the high handicap prize with a nett 73.
