The competitors in the Desmond Motors Friday Open had to contend with some heavy showers which did nothing to deter some excellent scoring with the top two players producing three under par rounds.
Scott Kennedy got his round underway with a modest level par front nine, then produced a three under par back nine for his winning total of 42 points, Shane Mc Clean started with a two under par front nine then added a one under par back nine for his 41 points which left him in the runners up spot.
