Team 18 have emerged as the new leaders of the Desmond Motors Winter league Series after round three with an accumulated three round total of 128 points.
Albert Gurney and Niall Mc Guinness returned scores of 41,44 and 43 points and lead by a slender point from Team 23 of John Jennings and Jim Mc Fadden who have been scoring very consistently and have accumulated 147 points for their three rounds.
Meanwhile early pace setters, Team 4 of Robert Ewing and Declan Ryan have accumulated 126 points and now hold third place.
Seven points cover the leading eight teams at this early stage of the league which looks like being a very competitive event as the teams strive for a top 16 place.
