The Different Class Mens Wear Sponsored Greensomes took place at the week-end with some 32 Teams turning out for this very enjoyable format making for a very competitive competition as one point separated the prize winners with another four teams within another point of third place.
The pairing of Seamus Ferry and James Mc Callion playing off a 17 handicap started their round with 20 points on the outward nine followed by 23 point on the back nine for a fine winning score of 43 points, Martin Campbell and Gary Mc Closkey finished as runners up after a break of tie with third placed Philip Smyth and George Fitzpatrick virtue of their 23 points on the back nine.
