The Donegal and Friends Ladies Alliance held there Captain’s Day outing at Foyle last Saturday when 29 ladies from local clubs competed for the events fabulous prizes.
Geraldine Crossan from City of Derry took top honours after returning a great score of 35 points on a course in fine condition despite the recent wet weather. Meanwhile a delighted Anne Hamilton was presented with the Alliances “Golfer of the Year” Shield.

The Alliance AGM will be held in May or June where all participating Clubs will be asked to send a representative. It is hoped that next year’s Alliance will be hosted by Strabane.
