The Eunisure sponsored Autumn / Winter Better Ball Event is now underway with the qualifying section of the competition which has the best 7 from 10 rounds counting, running until Sunday, December 1st when the leading 16 pairs will qualify for the final.
The final will be held on Saturday December 7th where six team prizes will be on offer.To date 37 teams have entered and with another eight weeks to run there is plenty of time to enter and compete in what looks like being a very competitive and fun event. With the teams having returned their first round cards, scoring has been excellent with the leading two teams 3, Carl King & Maurice Temple and 10, Ronnie Kennedy & Gerry Harkin tied on 45 points. However the chasing pack is in close contention with a further two teams tied on 44 points followed by two teams on 43 points with a further 15 teams recording scores of 41 points and above.
