The Foyle Friday Open Season got underway last week and with a new format whereby competitors who play in Four competitions qualify for the Finals day with some excellent prizes on offer [ see notice board ] four handicapper Martin Kivelehan became the first winner in 2015 with an excellent one over par round for his winning total of 39 points, Nat Roche flying the flag for the high handicappers when securing second place with a fine 37 points.
