The Foyle Friday Open competitions continue to attract very good entries and the competitors who took part in the latest were rewarded with fine playing conditions, with a three way 37 points break of tie which went to the back six hole called upon to decide the prize winners with Emmet Hutton getting the verdict over runner – up Michael Grey as the unfortunate Albert Gurney missing out after the tie break as Portsalon member Eamon Mc Dermott was the best of the visitors with 36 points.
