Week 15 of the Foyle Sunday Society had a large turnout with the competitors enjoying better weather and six handicapper Kevin Thomas certainly relished the conditions as he returned an excellent three under par round for his winning score of 45 points, which included seven birdies, five of which he recorded on the front nine for a 24 points total, he added a further two birdies on the back nine for 21 points while second place went to John J Logue – a distant five points back after a 40 points break of tie with third placed, Steve Moore.
