Damien Ball held his Foyle Sunday Society Captains Day at the weekend with the competitors having to endure persistent rain making for difficult playing conditions but it did not deter the large turnout as the scoring was of the highest order, with the competition for the coveted prize intense with 16 handicapper Mark Mc Closkey claiming the Foyle Sunday Society Captains Prize after a two way 41 point break of tie from Cormac Mc Geady who produced a stunning two under par round worthy of winning on another day.
