The 2018/19 Foyle Sunday Society Golfer of the Year title which is hotly contested each year is beginning to take shape and after nine rounds with 3/4 of the scores counting, Dermot Harkin having accumulated 261 points holds a slender two points advantage over the reining champion Kevin Mc Dermott but with the competition running until the end of March there will surely be some changes before the winner is crowned.
