Round 1 of the Foyle Sunday Society “Golfer of the Year” took place on Sunday last and was dominated by the higher handicappers as Niall Mc Geown, playing of 18 took top honours with an excellent score of 43 points while 23 and 21 handicappers Philip Devlin and Kevin Mc Daid finished second and third respectively on 42 and 41 points.
