Foyle Sunday Society got their 2017/18 Competitions underway at the weekend under the guidance of Society Skipper Martin Mc Eleney and his Committee, the Society is open to all Foyle Golf Club members and the incoming Skipper Martin invites all Club Members to join.
Long standing Society Member Jim Mc Faddden got the season off to a winning start when the 14 handicapper returned a fine winning score of 42 points on a day when scoring was made difficult because of the windy and murky conditions, Damien Ball finished runner up with another fine sore of 41 points as last seasons Society Skipper Kevin Mc Dermott finished in third place on 39 points.
