The 2019/20 Foyle Sunday Society Competitions got underway on Sunday last with incoming Skipper Damien Mc Colgan along with his Vice Skipper Terry Cavanagh and Sunday Society Committee overseeing the Season ahead and they welcome all club members who wish to join and wish them a successful and enjoyable season..
John Comey got his season underway on a very positive note after returning a very good score of 41 points as the 20 handicapper won the first outing with three points to spare over the chasing pack with second and third places decided after a three way break of tie in favor of Damien Martin and Steven Brown respectively.
Albert Gurney was the big winner on the day claiming the full sweep pot after recording the only two on the opening day.
