Foyle Sunday Society competitions continued at the weekend on the Winter course layout with the large turnout for week 11 having to contend with occasional showers, eleven handicapper Eddie Mc Dermott revelled in the conditions as he returned a fine winning score of 42 points, two points further adrift in second place was Sean Sands with Damien Ball surviving a break of tie to finish third on 39 points.
The highlight of Sundays competition was a Hole – In – One at the par three thirteenth hole where Mark Mc Closkey struck the perfect five iron to hole out for his ace witnessed by playing partners David Knox, David Knox Jun. and Paul Dunn.
