The die hard members of Foyle Sunday Society who turned out last weekend, endured very difficult playing conditions with strong winds and prolonged periods of rain making scoring difficult.
However John Mc Dowell relished the challenge when recording his maiden victory in this seasons competitions with a fine score of 39 points and a three point advantage over playing partner Eamon O’ Kane on 36 points, Gary Mc Elroy finished third with the best of the 35 point returns.
