Week eight of the Foyle Sunday Society once again had a very good entry with the competitors enjoying decent conditions on a course in fine condition after the overnight storm which made for some fine scoring, with 7 handicapper Kevin Thomas turning on the style with an excellent level par round for a 43 points victory, as big hitting Terry Cavanagh finished runner- up with a fine score of 40 points, John Comey finished on the rostrum for the second week running with 38 points to finish third after his runner-up finish last week.
