The Fyfes Motor Factors Sponsored Mid Summer Open was well supported with the competitors braving windy conditions making scoring more difficult but one of the Clubs talented Juvenile Members eight handicapper Robert Coyle coped best with the conditions to post a fine winning score of 39 points, Foyle’s Immediate Past Captain Chris Lynch finished second after a break of tie with a very credible 38 points to add to his success in the Total Golf 2 Day Open, Anthony Mc Monagle finishing in third after the tie break.
