Foyle Ladies Club staged their Annual Christmas Party and Prize Giving recently in Pitchers’ Restaurant when Vice Captain Monica Smith presented the Christmas Hampers in addition to the main Trophies for the year.
The prestigious “Golfer of the Year” Trophy was presented to a delighted Faye McGrotty along with the Silver Medal. The Foyle Shield was presented to Christine McCafferty for the third year in succession.
The Bronze Medal was won by Margaret Killen and Silver Spoon by Lorna Thompson. The September Breakthrough Brooch was won by Joan Hutchman.
The “Birdie Tree” Competition was claimed by Agnes McLaughlin
The much sought after Christmas Hamper Competition was won by Monica Smith who returned a score of 29 points over 16 holes.
