Foyle Ladies Club staged their Annual Christmas Party and Prize Giving at Pitchers when Lady Captain Josephine Kelly presented the Christmas Hampers in addition to the main Trophies for the year.
The club’s Competition Secretary, Anne Hamilton had a great year on the course to win the coveted Golfer of the Year Trophy as well as the Silver Medal and Silver Spoon. The Foyle Shield, for the best 30 to 36 handicap player of the year, was presented to Christine McCafferty.
Irene cosgrove was the winner of the Bronze Medal and the “Birdie Tree” was won by Agnes McLaughlin and Anne Hamilton after both had the same number of birdies in the ladies club competitions.
The Christmas Hamper Competition was won by Myra Gough with a great score of 36 points over 16 holes.
