Foyle Ladies Club staged their Annual Christmas Party and Prize Giving in Pitchers’ Restaurant recently, when the Lady Captain, Denise Callan presented the Christmas Hampers in addition to the main Trophies for the season.
The prestigious “Golfer of the Year” Trophy was presented to a delighted Denise Callan, completing what has been a very successful year for the Clubs Lady Captain. Meanwhile the Foyle Shield was won for the second year in succession by Christine McCafferty.
The Bronze Medal and Silver Spoon were both won by Monica Smith, Silver Medal by Myra Gough and Breakthrough Brooch by Denise Callan.
The Birdie Tree Competition was claimed by Anne Hamilton
The much sought after Christmas Hamper Competition was won by Margaret Killen who returned a great score of 27 points over 12 holes.
