Florence Rankin started of her Lady Captain’s year with an 18 hole, teams of three, scramble competition. Ten teams of ladies turned out to support the Lady Captain’s scramble and play for her lovely prizes.
The team of Lorna Thompson, Geraldine Doherty and Gaye Shaw could not be beaten after returning a fabulous score of 67 net. Runners up with a score of 70.4 net were Anne Hamilton, Sheila McLaughlin and Anne K Hamilton and in third place were Myra Gough, Janice Doherty and Sally Maloney with 70.7 net. A great day of fun and camaraderie was had by all.
