Foyle Ladies Captain Monica Smith excelled last Saturday when she hosted a highly successful Charity Open in which she also took top honours after returning a fine score of 36 points, one shot clear of runner-up Vice Captain Florence Rankin. The day proved to be highly successful with 99 ladies and gents turning out despite weather conditions.
The main sponsor was Nor-Den Electrical and to date the club has raised nearly £2,400 in aid of the Lady Captain’s chosen charity, “Children’s Heartbeat Trust”.
