Foyle Ladies Captain Josephine Kelly hosted her Charity Open last Friday, in aid of her chosen charity Aware N.I.
Weather conditions made scoring difficult on a course in great condition but the Foyle Ladies used their local knowledge to win the top prizes.
Celine Duffy didn’t let the weather conditions prevent her from returning a score of 36 points, one clear of her nearest rival Margaret McCarron. Lorna Thompson won the gross whilst the visitor’s prize went to Mary Hasson from Otway.
The Lady Captain extends her sincere thanks to those that sponsored individual holes, bought raffle lines gave donations or helped in any way to make the event such a great success. To date the event has raised approx £2,500 for Aware N.I.
