Lady Captain’s weekend in Rosapenna – results etc
I discovered at the weekend that we have some very competitive girls all looking to win the prizes and for a moment I thought there was going to be fisticuffs!!
However, it all settled down eventually and Avril Gallagher, Mary Wallace and Florence Rankin emerged the winners of the fabulous prizes – But, enough about the Friday night bingo – on to the golf now 🤣🤣🤣
The lady Captain asked me to be temporary Competition Secretary and the following are the results from two great days of golf in very kind weather
Saturday’s main event was won by Florence Rankin with a fabulous score of 39 points – well done Flo! There were also a few other very good scores and then some others which probably reflected the activities of the night before – enough said!
Sunday saw a fantastic score of 44 points brought in by Alison Wright, our bionic woman with her new hip – well done Alison! This was followed closely by Lady Vice Captain Mary Wallace with 39 points which on most days would be the winning score! Geraldine Doherty took third spot with 35 on BOT from Lady Captain and Florence Rankin who shared 4th prize
The sweep, kindly organised and sponsored by Monica Smith, had Mrs Ann McWilliams smiling from ear to ear as she picked up first while Lady Captain Alison got some balls for 2nd – many thanks Monica!
Altogether a great couple of days – thanks again and well done Alison Evans.
