Lady Captain Monica Smith’s Weekend Away to the Slieve Russell in County Cavan was a great success and despite the wet weather for Saturday’s competition the ladies had a very enjoyable weekend.
Vice Captain Florence Rankin won Saturday’s competition on a break of tie with Agnes McLaughlin closely followed by Alison Wright.
Sunday’s competition was won by Margaret McCarron with Agnes McLaughlin winning the front 9 and Janice Doherty the back 9. Nearest the pin was Geraldine Doherty and longest drive Agnes McLaughlin.
