Sundays Lombard Trophy Qualifier was again very well supported as the competitors took to the Ballyarnett course looking to secure a trip to the K. Club [ Palmer Course ] with the Club Professional for the Competition Area Finals on Monday 13th July
Inform eighteen handicapper Brendan Grimes will surely be the envy of the club after returning a fine score of 42 points to top the qualifiers and gain the coveted trip to Dublin and in doing so saw his handicap reduced to fifteen, runner up Sean Mc Eleney finished with a very credible 40 points.
