On Friday last the Past Captain’s of Foyle’s Ladies Branch competed for the Louden Challenge Trophy. A fun and memorable day was enjoyed by all despite the wet conditions making scoring difficult. Agnes McLaughlin was delighted to win the beautiful Past Captain’s trophy and achieve the double after winning Lady Captain’s Prize the previous week. Runner-up was Faye McGrotty closely followed by Anne Hamilton who also won nearest the pin. The front nine was won by Lorna Thompson and back nine Margaret McCarron. The par 3 princess was Myra Gough. Maureen Sheerin presented Maureen Louden with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation for all her efforts in organising the event.
